Buses

Kefalonia has a quality network of roads that covers the entire island. There is a bus for many destinations. The buses fares are very cheap and are collected by a boy in the bus.

The central bus station is situated in the islandís capital, Argostoli, near the Trapano Bridge. The public buses also operate special tours around the island.

Taxis
There is a fleet of taxis centred in the island’s capital, Argostoli, next to the central square (Platia Valianou). The rates are calculated by the metre but when it comes to popular destinations, the driver has generally already some fixed rates.
